Matthew Comprix holds a Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies and Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. He served 23 years in the United States Air Force as an Imagery Analyst, mostly in Reno, Nevada. In the past he lived and worked in Reno and Portland and now resides in Lusby, Maryland. At KCA he has joined the upper school to teach Math. He, his wife and two daughters attend Our Father's House in California, MD. In his free time he enjoys watching Football & Hockey and volunteering at HOPE.
Lit. & History/Chaplin
Mr. Lindgren is a graduate of Cedarville University and received his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also serves as a Associate Pastor at Point of Grace Church. A former student at KCA, Mr. Lindgren returned to serve as a Middle School and High School teacher. He now serves as Staff Chaplain and Head Men’s Varsity Soccer Coach. In his free time, Mr. Lindgren is avid reader of history, a devoted fan of Liverpool Football Club, and is inexplicably still a supporter of the San Diego/LA Chargers.
HS Language Arts
Allison McGolrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in English with a special emphasis in Creative Writing and a Theater Arts minor from Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. Before coming to teach at KCA, Mrs.McGolrick was a private tutor in North Carolina and taught Drama and American History at the Homeschool Christian Academy in MD. She has been active in the Southern MD theater community since 2001, serving as Director of the Summerstock program from 2009 to 2013. Currently, Miss McGolrick teaches English Literature, Writing and Grammar for upper school students. She is also the director of KCA's Ensemble. She is certificated as a teacher through ACSI
Marissa Flores comes to KCA with degrees in B.A. Liberal Studies (Education) California Polytechnic University (Cal Poly) Pomona, as well as M.S. Human Service -Non-Profit Organizational Management and Leadership. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, she has taught and/or worked in the Education field in California, Texas, Florida and Maryland, most recently at the Incarnate Word Academy. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, listen to music, and watch the Dodgers!
Jennifer MacDonald holds a B.A. Degree in History and a B.A. Degree in Economics from St. Mary's College of Maryland. She serves as the high school faculty team leader and teaches high school Geography, United States History, American Government, and Economics. She is a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church where she serves on the College Ministry Team. Jennifer is married to John who owns and operates Olde Town Pub in Leonardtown. They have three grown children: Jack, Benjamin, and Sarah, all graduates of KCA. She is a certified teacher through ACSI.
Denise Pentermann holds a B.S. in Mathematics with teacher certifications and a minor in Computer Science, as well as a M.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. She is currently in her 14th year at KCA, having previously taught college algebra at CSM, served as adjunct faculty for Calculus and Statistics at Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA), and taught Math at High Point Baptist Academy near Reading, PA. Denise is a member of SAYSF Bible Church and enjoys Church/Bible Study, reading Christian Fiction, and playing English handbells. She is married to Arthur who works as a DoD engineer at Pax River. They have two children: Christopher, a KCA graduate, and Aimee a junior. She loves serving God as a math teacher and considers her position at KCA as a ministry as well as a career.
Zach Anderson is a 2013 graduate of University of Central Florida where he majored in English. Born in Tacoma, Washington he later moved to Oviedo, FL where he taught at Faith Christian Academy four 4 years. He is married to Karrie who works for the Navy. They have 3 kids, all who attend KCA: Emily, Will and Adam. In his free time he enjoys video games, basketball, fishing, and basketball.
Iliana McNutt holds a B.S in biblical studies from Washington Bible College/Lancaster Bible College and a M.S in psychology with a doctoral program concentration from Regent University, 2019. From the Bronx, NYC, she has lived and worked in Chicago, Canada, and most recently Virginia where she taught at the Christian Center School. In 2009 she started teaching at KCA. She is a member of Faith Bible Church, where her hunband is the pastor. All three of her sons, Robbie, Ricky and Tony are KCA alumni. In her free time she like to draw, read, and enjoy the outdoors.

Cheryl Ralon is currently working with the middle school in Math and Language Arts and is our Student Advocate (working with students with special needs) for middle and high school. She has taught 5th grade, Middle school-PE, Science, History, and Elementary Music. Additionally, she is a trained NILD educator (National Institute of Learning Development) focusing on brain-based education. She is the mother of 4 KCA ‘lifers,” now all college graduates.
Jennifer Baker is a graduate of St. Mary's College of MD with a degree in Education and a minor in Math. She also holds a Master of Science from Liberty University in Student Services and Counseling. Before KCA, Jennifer was a member of the U.S. Air Force, White House Communications Agency, and taught at Spring Ridge Middle School. She loves to read, knit, garden, and is a lover of monarch butterflies. She is married to Andrew and has 3 children (all KCA lifers) and 2 grandchildren. They are members of Faith Bible Church.
Stephanie Miller Grew up in Northern New Jersey, attended college at West Chester University and graduated with a B.S. Ed in Elementary Education. She moved to St. Mary's County in 1984 and went onto teach at Mechanicsville Elementary, Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary, Lexington Park Baptist Preschool, and the homeschool Christian Academy. She attends SAYSF Bible Church and enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
Crystal Schlueter is a graduate of The King's College, NY and Regent University. She has taught for Cairn University, College of Southern Maryland, Grace Brethren Christian School (Clinton) and Calvert Christian School. She is a member of SAYSF Church and has been married for 34 years to Daniel, who is also a teacher. Her daughter, Anna, and son-in-law, Grant, live and work in Southern Maryland. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, reading, singing with the praise & worship team and the church choir.
