Kevin Gardiner

Kevin Gardiner is a music educator, musician, worship pianist, and technology coordinator with a career spanning instrumental, vocal, general, and performance-based music education. A graduate of Elizabethtown College and the University of Phoenix, Kevin holds degrees in Music Education (Tuba Major) and Educational Technology. Over the course of his teaching career, he has taught high school band and orchestra as well as elementary band and general music in Harford, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties, Maryland. Kevin currently serves as Music Teacher/FACTS Coordinator at The King’s Christian Academy in Callaway, Maryland, where his work reaches students across multiple grade levels. He teaches general music, instrumental music, choir, drums, and contemporary music performance. He also serves as Treasurer for SoMar Drummers and shares his experience by leading workshops for the organization. Outside of teaching and performing, Kevin enjoys writing music and fiction and pursuing creative projects that combine music, storytelling, and technology. Kevin enjoys connecting with his students and co-workers, helping others draw closer to God through praise and worship. His ministry is rooted in the hope found in Revelation 21:4, which points toward the promise of the New Jerusalem: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” Through music, Kevin hopes to offer a glimpse of that promise—a place of hope, healing, and worship in the presence of God.

Rachael Jarboe

Rachael Jarboe is a graduate of Nyack College, Alliance Theological Seminary, and the American College of Education. Ms. Jarboe holds degrees in BA in Interdisciplinary Studies of Missiology and Music, an MA in Intercultural Studies for Urban Missions, and a Master's of Education in Instructional Design and Technology. Ms. Jarboe has experience from being an assistant dormitory director to student support, administration in student systems (SIS), learning management (LMS), and preschool. She is certified through ASCI for teaching Pre-K to high school. She volunteers as a mission and outreach coordinator at her church, Our Father's House AG. She oversees the visual and sound recordings engineering for church services.

Kelsey Reichard is a graduate of Liberty University with a Kinesiology Health & Physical Education degree. She started working for KCA in 2011 during the first year of summer camp. She has been working at KCA’s summer camp ever since, in charge of the Counselor staff. This will be her sixth year teaching Physical Education and coaching soccer and basketball at KCA.

Monique Jones has been an artist for many years, a passion that started in her childhood. Through many experiences in school and with her family she was encouraged and pursued many different mediums, such as photography and painting, and later attended a magnet school for piano and art. She loves seeing kids at KCA reach their fullest potential and skill in art. She is married to Chris and has three children who attend KCA.
