Mrs. Matthias joins KCA as our High School Science Teacher, bringing more than 15 years of experience teaching Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science in a Christian educational environment. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Secondary Education Certification from Hood College and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Executive Leadership at Liberty University. With a strong foundation in both science and Christian education, Mrs. Matthias is passionate about bringing science to life through engaging, hands-on instruction that challenges students to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and explore the world around them with curiosity. She is committed to academic excellence while encouraging students to grow in confidence, character, and their God-given potential.
