Job Title: (CNA/GNA) Training Program Coordinator and Instructor Job Summary As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program Coordinator and High School CTE Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in preparing students for careers in healthcare, specifically as certified nursing assistants. This multifaceted role involves curriculum development, program coordination, teaching, and mentoring high school students interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare industry. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. • Must have unencumbered, current Maryland Registered Nurse license and current American Heart Association: BLS CPR and AED for the Healthcare Provider. • At least two (2) years’ nursing experience in caring for the elderly and/or the chronically ill of any age of which at least one (1) year must be in the provision of services in a long-term care facility. • Completion of a course in teaching adults (e.g. Train the Trainer) or have documented experience in teaching adults or have one (1) year experience in managing nurse aides. • Experience in curriculum development, program coordination, and/or teaching, particularly in a secondary education setting, preferred. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, administrators, and healthcare professionals. • Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in education and healthcare. • Possesses minimum standards of character: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach a full-time course load within the department of in-person, and/or online courses • Use proficiently the MS Office suite, Canvas and other hardware and software as needed. • Assist with the development and implementation of the academic strategic plan within the department, particularly in the areas of recruiting, course transferability, and articulation. • Employ a wide variety of teaching methods designed to create opportunities for deep understanding and differentiated instruction for all levels of ability within a class, including serving students identified with special needs. • Coordinate all aspects of the CNA & CTE training program, including scheduling classes, securing clinical placements, and managing all the program logistics. • Collaborate with school administration, healthcare facilities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations. • Complete and submit the comprehensive Nursing Assistant Training Program (NATP) renewal application, typically every two years, to the Maryland Board of Nursing to keep the program in good standing. • Oversee the recruitment and enrollment process for students interested in the CNA & CTE training program. • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievement. • Prepare a syllabus for each assigned course which meets KCA content requirements. • Participate in departmental and high school events including graduation and honors ceremonies. • Complete annual faculty self-assessment. • Abide by KCA course policies as outlined in the Faculty Guidebook. High School Mathematics Teacher Job Summary The King's Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as a High School Mathematics Teacher and Head of the Mathematics Department. This role involves teaching mathematics grade levels (9th - 12th), leading the mathematics department (6th - 12th), and ensuring that the curriculum aligns with the school's Christian values and educational standards. Key Responsibilities Teaching Duties: Instruction and Curriculum Delivery Develop engaging lesson plans catering to various learning styles and abilities. Teach mathematics courses at the high school level, including, but not limited to, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, pre-calculus, and Calculus. Job Title: Bookkeeper - Full-Time Position Summary The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the organization, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with established procedures. This role involves handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, tuition billing, and petty cash. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks expertise, excellent attention to detail, and a high level of integrity. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Transactions •Record all financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks. •Process and pay vendor invoices in a timely manner. •Reconcile bank accounts monthly. •Reconcile and verify credit card statements. •Prepare and make bank deposits. •Maintain and reconcile petty cash. Tuition & Billing Management •FACTS tuition billing, payment posting, and credit application. •Communicate with families regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules. •Generate and send statements as needed. Payroll & HR Support •Process payroll accurately and on schedule (Paychex experience preferred). •Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations. •Prepare and submit payroll-related reports as required.
