FINE ARTS

DRAMA PRODUCTIONS

TAUGHT BY EMILY GETSCHER & NIA MCWHORTER

KCA Drama Productions give students the opportunity to bring stories to life while developing confidence, creativity, communication skills, and teamwork. Through acting, singing, stage movement, and technical theater experiences, students learn the dedication and collaboration required to create meaningful performances.

Students participate in a variety of productions throughout the school year, including plays, musicals, chapel presentations, and Fine Arts showcases. From humorous performances to meaningful faith-based storytelling, students are encouraged to use their talents to inspire, entertain, and glorify God.

The drama program welcomes students of all experience levels. Whether performing on stage, helping behind the scenes, working with costumes and props, or assisting with technical production, students discover valuable opportunities to grow artistically and personally.

Drama at KCA is more than memorizing lines — it is about building confidence, developing leadership, strengthening communication skills, and creating unforgettable experiences together as a community.

In the spring, a large-scale play or musical is available to audition. KCA has been proud to perform such shows as Our Town, Anne of Green Gables, Oklahoma, My Fair Lady, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, and Willy Wonka, Esther, and Elsewhere.
