
Anthony Mendez
HS Math Teacher & Head of the Mathematics Department, Robotics
Mr. Mendez joins KCA as our High School Math Teacher and Head of the Mathematics Department, bringing more than 15 years of experience teaching and mentoring students in Christian schools, college-preparatory schools, universities, and private educational settings. His teaching background spans advanced mathematics, physics, engineering, and other STEM disciplines.
Mr. Mendez brings a distinctive combination of classroom teaching and real-world scientific research to KCA. His professional background includes graduate research in applied physics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), experience teaching mathematics, engineering, and physics at California Lutheran University, and seven years of research in applied physics and related scientific fields.
Mr. Mendez views education as a Christ-centered calling and is passionate about bringing real-world STEM experiences into the classroom while fostering intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, academic excellence, and character. He is committed to helping students recognize their divine calling and equipping them with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to pursue it.
