Lauren Deaton
1st Grade
Lauren is from Pensacola, Florida, and a graduate of Judson College in Marion, Alabama where she competed on an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association team. She is married to Seth, and they have three children, Maddie (4th), Levi (1st), and Benjamin (2 yo). The Marine Corps moved the family to the area in the summer of 2022. Her educational experience includes two years in public education, teaching in both ESE and general education classrooms, and two years in a classical school. This year, at KCA, is her fifth year as a classroom teacher, and fourth year in a first grade classroom. In her spare time, she is working on her master’s degree in elementary education from Liberty University and hopes to get back into horseback riding.
