Anita Stevens
HS CNA / Allied Health
Anita Stevens holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Education and has over 30 years of nursing experience in patient and community-based care. Her passions are God, family, nursing, and community. She has devoted her career to providing patient-focused care in the field and creating engaging lectures, laboratory experiences, and supporting diverse learners in health science programs. She is committed to evidence-based teaching, academic excellence, and preparing students for careers in healthcare and biological sciences. She believes every student and their family are different, with their own unique needs, and her goal is to help each and every one of her students achieve the best possible education.
A long-time resident of Southern Maryland, she lives here with her husband, three children, and five grandchildren, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and growing with her church family and fellow community members.
Ann Gantt
Administrative Assistant
Ann Gantt is a lifelong resident of St. Mary's County. She has been married for 26 years and has 3 children (one of whom graduated from KCA in 2017 and one who currently is in high school). She is a grandmother of one and one on the way. Her background is in Early Childhood Education and is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree. She attends St. Frances Xavier Church in Newtowne Neck. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, boating, and being with her family.
Christine March
MS Math
Mrs. March teaches mathematics. She has been married for 16 years and is mother of two. She enjoys puzzles and games and views math problems as puzzles which can be solved once the proper steps and processes are understood. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Business.
Daniel Thompson
MS/HS Science
Dan Thompson is a graduate of Baptist Bible College and George Washington University. He comes to us with 19 years of teaching experience, having taught at several Christian Schools in Maryland. He has also served 23 years as an administrator at schools in Maryland, North and South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Most recently, he was the Head of School at Columbia County Christian School in PA. He has been married to Staci for 39 years. Their children, Andrew and Alyson, are both teachers as well. He attends Emmanuel Church in Huntingtown, and enjoys spending time with his 4 grandchildren and watching college football.
Celeste Pullias
Office Manager
Celeste Pullias is a graduate of the University of Maryland of Baltimore County with a BA in Linguistics. She started working at The King's Christian Academy in 2010 when her son Brandon (class of 2012) started at KCA. She has served in the main office as the Development Secretary and now the Office Manager. She also taught Spanish for 11 years. She is a member of Faith Bible Church where she volunteers in the nursery. She is happily married to Brian (and her son is one of her greatest joys in life.)
Betsy Barreto
Member-at-Large
Betsy graduated in 1991 from the University of Puerto Rico with a B.A. degree in Business Administration. She's a former student of a private Christian Academy in Puerto Rico, and mother of two KCA Alumni and one KCA student. Her daughter Natalia graduated in 2012, Cristina graduated in 2016, and Adriana currently attends. Betsy is also KCA’s former Director of Admissions, where she worked for 14 years. She now works at the President's Office at St. Mary's College of Maryland, and as a certified Christian Life Coach. Betsy and her husband Jose are bilingual Pastors, Christian Life Coach Directors with MetodoCC in the area of USA East, and lifelong worship leaders.
Cheryl Ralon
MS ELA/HS Bible
Cheryl Ralon is a graduate of Washington Bible College with Sacred Music and Christian Education emphasis. In addition to her B.S., she has a M.S. from Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn). Mrs. Ralon is currently working with the middle school in Math and Language Arts and is our Student Advocate (working with students with special needs) for middle and high school. She has taught 5th grade, middle school P.E., Science, History, and Elementary Music. Additionally, she is a trained NILD educational therapist (National Institute of Learning Development) focusing on brain-based education. She is the mother of 4 KCA ‘lifers,” now all college graduates, and grandmother of six KCA students."
