Lacy Schiffelbein

1st Grade

Lacy received her B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi in 2002 and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology while enrolled in a Psy.D program at Alliant International University in 2006, with an interest in Neuropsychology. She has taught children with autism, 2nd grade, and kindergarten, and has a background in behavioral therapy. This is her 6th year teaching in a typical classroom setting. Lacy is originally from South Texas and lives here with her husband, who serves in the US Navy, and their 4 children who also attend KCA- Samson (8th), Anslea (7th), Harrison (4th), and Luke (1st.) Lacy has gained valuable experience in the Science of Reading and brain-based learning in recent years and is passionate about literacy for all! Her other passions include music, singing, and spending time with her family. Lacy and her family are members of Patuxent Baptist Church.
